Lackley Classic Poker Table wins blue ribbon at Vermont Design Competition, June 17, 2006

"3rd Annual, Vermont Fine Furniture & Wood Products Design Competition "

The goal of the Design Competition is to showcase the talent and craftsmanship of Vermont's woodworkers, and also to help grow and promote the Wood Products Sector in Vermont. Learn more about the Design Competition.

Over 65 furniture makers from throughout Vermont submitted over 90 entries to the competition. Designs were judged by criteria such as: choices of wood, appropriate joinery, proper scaling of elements, choice of finish and other attributes. The distinguished panel of judges included an editor from Fine Woodworking Magazine and Thomas Moser Cabinet Maker from Maine. Learn more about the 2006 Winners.

Mark's first place award for his Classic Poker Table. This poker table is a 5-foot round, cherry table with a reversible top so it can be used as a poker table or as a dining table.
